About us – data recovery lab since 2007

HDD-PARTS.EU is the spare parts shop of a Berlin data recovery laboratory that has been recovering data from failed hard drives since 2007. Every board and donor drive we sell comes from the same stock our own engineers use for real recovery cases.

Who we are

Behind this shop is a team of qualified engineers with technical degrees who work on damaged hard drives every day: PCB and ROM work, head swaps, firmware repair. Our data recovery services run under the brands HDDLab Datenrettung and XDatenrettung. The shop itself is operated by Römisches Handels Kontor GmbH, Berlin.

  • ROM transfer in our own lab. Modern drives keep adaptive data in a ROM chip on the board. Order the board with the ROM transfer option, send us your old board and we fit your ROM before shipping.
  • Help before you order. Send us a photo of your board and the drive label – we check compatibility first, as specialists, not as a call centre.
